1. Who we are
AscendTogether is operated by ADERP DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE SRL, a company registered in Romania (CIF 43663198, Trade Register no. J22/382/2021). In these Terms, "we", "us" and "AscendTogether" refer to this company. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a course or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. What we offer
We sell educational courses, delivered either online (pre-recorded or live) or in person at scheduled dates and locations. Course details, format, schedule and price are shown on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
4. Orders and payment
Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and include applicable taxes where required. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully completed and we send you a confirmation email.
5. Delivery
Course access details are emailed to you within 24 hours of successful payment (typically much sooner during business hours, Mon to Fri, 09:00 to 18:00 EET). Live cohorts and in-person workshops are scheduled separately; our team contacts you by email to confirm the date and location. If you have not received your access details within 24 hours, email [email protected] and we will resolve it the same day or issue a full refund.
6. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not yet consumed the benefit of the course, that is:
- for online courses: you have not accessed, downloaded or started any of the content;
- for in-person courses: the course has not yet started and you have not attended.
Once you have started accessing online content or attended an in-person session, the service is considered delivered and the purchase is non-refundable. By starting to use the course you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge you lose your right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
If we cancel an in-person course and you cannot attend a rescheduled date, you will receive a full refund. To request a refund, email [email protected] from the address used at purchase. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
7. Your account and conduct
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You agree not to share, resell, or redistribute course content, and not to use the service unlawfully or in a way that disrupts it for others.
8. Intellectual property
All course materials, videos, text, graphics and logos are owned by AscendTogether or its licensors and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access purchased content for your own learning. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of liability
Our courses are educational and provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. As an EU consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the country where you reside. You may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or contact us directly to resolve any issue.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or on the website before they take effect.
